Welcome to the Discovery Room

The Discovery Room at Fish and Game's Concord headquarters is a window on New Hampshire's great outdoors ... complete with a life-sized moose cow and her calf. Exhibits in this room depict a variety of New Hampshire landscapes and wildlife. Come explore the sights and sounds of New Hampshire's wild places, including a beaver pond, stream, meadow, woodland, vernal pool, boreal (spruce/fir) forest, fish tanks, and even a typical back yard.

Plan Your Visit
The Discovery Room is located on the basement level at NH Fish and Game headquarters, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH. Admission is free.
Directions - Take exit 14 off Route I-93 in Concord. Head east on Loudon Road through a couple of stoplights. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Hazen Drive at the stoplight and follow signs to the NH Fish and Game Department (second left).
Hours - The Discovery Room is open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays for free self-guided tours. Groups of 10 or more should call (603) 271-3211 to reserve a specific date and time for a personal tour of the Discovery Room.
