April 4, 2017

CONCORD, N.H. - Learn about birds of prey at a free talk with Kevin Wall of New Hampshire Audubon on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at the N.H. Fish and Game Department, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, N.H. The talk begins at 7:00 p.m. No pre-registration is required.

This talk is a great chance to see and learn about live birds of prey. Wall will display several live raptors, including owls and a red-tailed hawk, as he explores the various adaptations that help establish these birds as some of New Hampshire’s top predators. Discover the unique role they play in our ecosystem, how NH Audubon helps protect them, and how you can help.

Wall is the Director of Education at NH Audubon’s McLane Center in Concord, where he is responsible for the care and management of six live birds of prey. He has completed training at The Raptor Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota and at Natural Encounters, Inc., in Florida. He combines this knowledge with hands-on experience and skill as an educator to deliver and entertaining and informative presentation on raptors.
