CONCORD, NH -- Your help is needed to make Barry Conservation Camp an even better place for kids to learn about New Hampshire's great outdoors.  A major fundraising campaign is underway to build a much needed addition to the dining hall at this popular North Country camp. The new screened-in room to be built will expand the available space for campers and staff at mealtimes, as well as adding covered classroom space for use during inclement weather.

The Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire is leading the charge to raise $22,500 by year's end to qualify for a generous matching grant from the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. Please take action by December 31, 2016, to help us make this match.

Your donation will make a difference. There are three ways to give (please specify Barry Camp addition):

Barry Conservation Camp hosts more than 260 campers each summer in seven week-long sessions. For 30 years, the camp has thrived as the place where love and respect for the outdoors is shared with the next generation.  Operated by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department in partnership with UNH Cooperative Extension, the camp focuses on increasing appreciation for the natural world and the need to conserve our natural surroundings, as well as providing opportunities to learn fishing, hunting, shooting and other outdoor skills.

The Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire is the official non-profit partner of the NH Fish and Game Department. Visit www.nhwildlifeheritage.org and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/wildlifeheritageNH.
