Peterson Waterfowl Management Area
Acquisition History: Peterson WMA was donated to New Hampshire Fish and Game by John Peterson in 1975 in order to maintain the property for recreation.
Description: This small parcel comprised a portion of Mud Pond and surrounding wetlands to the west.
Common Wildlife: This property, along with Mud Pond and the surrounding uplands support waterfowl such as mallard ducks, Canada geese, and blue heron. Beaver, mink, and muskrat would also be found here.
Directions: A pull-off on NH Rte. 101E, 0.5 miles east of its intersection with Rte. 137, provides pedestrian and cartop access to Peterson WMA and Mud Pond.
