Operation Land Share Access Management Assistance

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to you for your generosity in sharing your land with New Hampshire hunters. Without the access that you and other landowners provide, the opportunity to hunt would not be available to most New Hampshire hunters.

Operation Land Share was developed to assist you as a landowner with issues that you experience in sharing your land with hunters. Landowners who enroll in Operation Land Share are provided assistance in the form of access management signage which has been specifically designed to address the most common issues landowners experience in sharing their property with hunters and other outdoor recreation users.

The only requirement of landowners who participate in Operation Land Share is that they agree to leave the majority of their property open to hunting.

There are fourteen specific signs available free of charge to landowners participating in Operation Land Share. Landowners can use one or more of the following signs to manage access issues on their property.

To order your free signs, please complete and mail the Landowner Participation Agreement and order form. CLICK HERE to download a print-and-mail agreement and order form. Please allow up to 2 weeks from submission of the agreement for delivery of signs.

OLS 001 Informational – Used to identify landowner providing access and to remind user that access is a privilege provided through landowner’s generosity. OLS 002 Safety Zone – Used to restrict hunting around homes, buildings and other areas for safety purposes. OLS 004 No Vehicles – Used to prohibit all vehicle use and restrict access to foot travel. OLS 005 No Motorized Vehicles – Used to prohibit motor vehicle use and to permit use by mountain bike users and pedestrians. OLS 011 Bowhunters – Used to remind bowhunters to recover arrows. OLS 012 Caution Work Area – Used to caution hunters that workers are in the area. OLS 014 Illegal Dumping – Used to identify areas where illegal dumping is occurring and ask hunters to report anyone they observe illegal dumping to the landowner.
