Free Outdoor Adventure Talk April 11, 2012:
Fly Fishing the Upper Connecticut River
CONCORD, N.H. – Come hear veteran fly-fisherman Angus Boezeman talk about strategies for fly fishing one of New Hampshire's iconic waterways, the upper Connecticut River, at a free talk on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, N.H. 03301. No pre-registration is required. The talk starts at 7 p.m.
Angus Boezeman is an acclaimed fly fishing guide and instructor with 35 years of experience fishing New Hampshire waters. He serves on the board of directors of the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire and is an advisor to Basil W. Woods Jr. Trout Unlimited Chapter of Concord. His talk will explore when, where and how to fish the Upper Connecticut, as well as flies that work for catching trout there. You'll learn about some different places to go on the river, and strategies for fishing various waters.
"The Upper Connecticut is my home water, and I am happy to share the knowledge," said Boezeman.
