CONCORD, N.H. -- The Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire Board of Directors announces its newest board member, Charles R. Miner Jr. of Epsom, N.H. Miner recently retired from 35 years of service to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. Known to many in the fish and game community, his diverse roles at Fish and Game ranged from Wildlife Program Coordinator, Federal Aid Program Coordinator, Division Chief for Access and Engineering, to, most recently, Landowner Relations Coordinator. Miner also helped to launch the Wildlife Foundation of N.H., and served as the liaison between the Foundation and the Fish and Game Department for five years.

"I look forward to joining the Board of the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire in its mission to support Fish and Game in maintaining the state's fish and wildlife resources and the traditions of hunting, fishing, trapping and wildlife watching for present and future generations," Miner said.

Miner also brings a long history of community and public service through his participation on the Town of Epsom Planning Board and Conservation Commission, the New Hampshire Water Council, the New Hampshire Water Access Advisory Board, the New Hampshire Land Use Legislative Study Commission, and his long-term leadership with the Daniel Webster Council Boy Scouts of America.

The Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire is the official non-profit partner of the N.H. Fish and Game Department. The Foundation raises funds in support of Fish and Game’s conservation and management of wildlife and natural places important to New Hampshire’s family traditions such as hiking, hunting, fishing and watching wildlife.
