Concord Teen Hospitalized Following Trail Bike Accident in Warren, N.H.

CONCORD, N.H. – N.H. Fish and Game Conservation Officer Greg Jellison responded to a single vehicle motorized trailbike accident that occurred on the Glencliff Loop Trail in Warren, N.H., Sunday afternoon, October 16, 2011.

Jason Samson, age 19, of Concord, was operating his trail bike through a large puddle when he struck a submerged rock and lost control of his machine. Samson was thrown from the bike and sustained non life threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.

Warren/Wentworth Ambulance and Warren Fire Department responded and provided care to Samson. The DHART helicopter transported the victim to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., for evaluation.

Conservation Officers remind ATV and trail bike riders of all ages to wear an approved helmet, eye protection, and appropriate riding gear at all times.
