Free Outdoor Adventure Talk:  Hunting Resident Canada Geese

CONCORD, N.H. – Pick up some tactics for hunting resident Canada geese in New Hampshire at a free talk on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at 7 p.m. at the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, N.H. The early goose season talk kicks off Fish and Game's fall series of evening hunting talks that will be held on Wednesday evenings through September to help hunters prepare for a great season in the field.  No pre-registration is required.

The August 24 talk features Ray Jackson and Jay Levasseur, both avid waterfowl hunters with many years of experience hunting geese and ducks in New Hampshire. Ray Jackson is the northeast pro-staff director for Buck Gardner Calls, Tanglefree Industries and pro-staffs for Mossy Oak Brand Camo. Jay Levasseur is on the pro-staff for Buck Gardner Calls.

"For me, goose hunting is the some of the best action you will ever have while hunting," says Ray Jackson.  "Because of their high numbers in New Hampshire, the opportunity for success is excellent. Understanding a few principals, doing some homework, putting your time in and attending this informative seminar will help fill your bag."

Jackson and Levasseur will cover all aspects of effective early season goose hunting including scouting, decoy set up, goose calling, safety and more. After the talk, they will be on hand to answer your questions and offer additional insight to the world of goose hunting.
