Media, Community Leaders, Invited to Join Executive Councilor Ray Burton for Fish and Game Carroll County Tour on September 7, 2011
Theme: Adapting to Changing Times
CONCORD, N.H. -- News media, outdoor writers and community leaders are invited to join District 1 Executive Councilor Raymond Burton and New Hampshire Fish and Game Department Executive Director Glenn Normandeau on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, for a tour of several Fish and Game facilities, projects and partnerships in the Carroll County area of Executive Council District 1. There will be a variety of photo opportunities and story leads. Members of the media are invited to accompany the tour for all or part of the day’s events.
Following is the touring schedule for the day:
7:30 a.m., New Hampton -- Depart Fish and Game Region 2 Office (200 Main Street)
8:00 – 10:00 a.m., Holderness – Breakfast and presentations at Rockywold-Deephaven Camps:
* Adapting to Changing Times Initiative
* Search and Rescue and OHRV Programs
* Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Program
11:00 – 11:15 a.m., Ossipee – Pine River Boat Access Facility
11:30 – 11:45 a.m., Ossipee – Conner Pond Boat Access Facility
12:00 – 12:45 p.m., Ossipee – Lunch at the Yankee Smokehouse
1:15 – 2:00 p.m., Albany – Town of Albany LCHIP Project Partnership
2:30 – 3:15 p.m., Tamworth – Sanborn Brook Stream Restoration Partnership
5:00 p.m., New Hampton – Conclusion of tour at Fish and Game Region 2 Office
