ogtProtect New Hampshire's Natural Resources - Report Wildlife Law Violators!

CONCORD, N.H. - Are you aware of a poaching situation? Have you witnessed a wildlife crime? Contact Operation Game Thief! Fall hunting seasons are underway in New Hampshire, and N.H. Fish and Game Conservation Officers are reminding the public that everyone can participate in protecting New Hampshire's wildlife resources by reporting violations to Fish and Game's Operation Game Thief. In 2009 alone, Operation Game Thief received 151 tips on fish and wildlife violations in New Hampshire.

You can report violations to Fish and Game's Operation Game Thief online, any time at, or call the 24-hour hotline at 1-800-344-4262. Confidentiality is guaranteed. Rewards are paid for arrest or citation.

When you make a report, please include as much of the following information as possible: Date; Vehicle Description; License Number; Road/Route; Time; Violation; Travel Direction; Description of Person(s).

"There are only so many Conservation Officers in the field, so information reported by the public through Operation Game Thief calls can really make a difference in protecting our natural resources," said Lt. James Goss of Fish and Game Law Enforcement.
