Still Room in Free Hunting Programs for Youth Age 13-15 (Holderness): Bowhunting/Archery Skills for Girls July 15; Intro to Hunting (Boys and Girls) July 29

HOLDERNESS, N.H. – There is still room in two sessions of the free summer day programs for youth being offered at the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department’s Owl Brook Hunter Education Center in Holderness, N.H.  The program gives youth a chance to learn about shooting sports, hunting and outdoor skills. There is no charge for the sessions, which run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants must bring a bag lunch.  Pre-registration is required; to sign up, call 603-536-3954.

The following two sessions are still open for additional registrations:

  • Thursday, July 15, 2010 -- Bowhunting/Archery Skills (Girls Only) for girls age 13-15

  • Thursday July 29, 2010 -- Introduction to Hunting for both boys and girls age 13-15
