Media Invited to Join Executive Councilor Ray Burton for Tour of Fish and Game Facilities on August 31
CONCORD, N.H. -- News media and outdoor writers are invited to join District 1 Executive Councilor Raymond Burton and New Hampshire Fish and Game Department Executive Director Glenn Normandeau on Monday, August 31, 2009, for a tour of several Fish and Game facilities and projects in Executive Council District 1. The tour will include a variety of photo opportunities and story leads. Members of the media are welcome to accompany the tour for all or part of the day's events.
Following is the touring schedule for the day:
7:00 - 7:45: Bristol - Breakfast at Bristol Diner
8:00 - 8:30: Danbury - Ragged Mountain Partnership; Danbury Bog Waterfowl Management Area
9:00 - 9:45: Enfield - Wildlife Habitat Management; Enfield Wildlife Management Area
10:15 - 10:45: Plainfield - Turkey Habitat Partnership; McNamara Farm
11:15 - 11:45: Claremont - Pheasant Project Partnership; LeClair Farm
12:15 - 1:45: Charlestown - Connectivity Project Partnership; Student Conservation Association
2:00 - 3:00: Claremont - Airboat Use in Search and Rescue/Law Enforcement Operations; Ashley Ferry Boat Access
3:30 - 4:00: Newbury - Lake Sunapee Boat Access Project
