Information Sought on Young Man Missing after Police Chase

CONCORD, N.H. - New Hampshire Fish and Game Department Conservation Officers were called in today to assist New Hampshire State Police, who are seeking information from the public regarding a missing person.  On Sunday, June 21, 2009, at approximately 6 a.m, State Police were attempting to stop Russell Call, age 19, of Newton, Mass., for speeding. Call led police on a chase and eventually was involved in a motor vehicle collision on Route 125 in the town of Epping, N.H., near the Lee town line. When State Police arrived on the scene, the young man had disappeared.  A N.H. State Police K-9 team immediately searched the area, but only a pair of sneakers belonging to Call were located in the woods nearby.

Call is described as being a white male, 5 foot, 9 inches tall; 220 pounds; with light brown hair.  Anyone having contact with or having seen Russell Call, please notify the N.H. State Police - Troop A at 603-679-3333.

Call's family and friends are cooperating fully in the missing person investigation, but they have had no contact with Call as of this time.

New Hampshire Fish and Game Law Enforcement is coordinating the search effort, which is currently focused in the immediate area surrounding the crash site in Epping.

No further information is available at this time.
