Free Family Fun on Tap at Discover WILD New Hampshire Day, April 18
CONCORD, N.H. -- Now in its 20th year, Discover WILD New Hampshire Day is a sure bet for free family fun on Saturday, April 18, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department on Hazen Drive in Concord. There is no charge for admission, and this Earth Day festival has something for everyone, including archery, casting, wildlife crafts, live animals, big trout, trained falcons and battling bull moose. Check out gas-saving hybrid vehicles and ideas for conserving energy. More than 35 New Hampshire outdoor, wildlife, environmental and conservation groups will be on hand with exhibits and demonstrations, plus the Northern Forest Center's Ways of the Woods Traveling Museum.
