Registration Opens for Winter
Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Workshop
CONCORD, N.H. -- Registration has opened for the 2007 Winter Becoming
an Outdoors-Woman (B.O.W.) workshop, a one-day program for women who want
to learn winter outdoor skills. The sign-up period is January 8 through
February 9, 2007. Register early, because the workshop fills up fast.
Participants choose from topics such as ice-fishing; winter outdoor survival
skills; basic snowshoeing and tracking; snowmobiling; and 'Shoe and Shoot
(combining snowshoeing and target shooting). The session is sponsored
by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department and the New Hampshire Wildlife
Federation.

The 2007 Winter B.O.W. workshop will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 (snow date February 25), at N.H. Fish and Game's Owl Brook Hunter Education Center in Holderness, N.H.
The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is the guardian
of the state's fish, wildlife and marine resources and their habitats.
