Take Advantage of New One-day Fishing License

CONCORD, N.H. -- Want to go fishing, but can't see yourself getting out enough to make that annual fishing license worth your while? You don't have to miss out on the fun, because now the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is offering a one-day resident fishing license for just $10.

"People are excited about the new one-day license, because now even casual resident anglers can go on spur-of-the-moment fishing trips," said Steve Perry, Chief of the Inland Fisheries Division at Fish and Game. "For the more avid anglers who buy annual licenses, it also makes it easier to bring along family and friends who are new to fishing."

The new license (as well as the all-season resident fishing license, good through December 31 for just $35) can be purchased online anytime (click here for online license sales), or visit one of many friendly Fish and Game license agents across the state. Bring the kids along, too -- if they're age 15 or under, they don't need a license to fish, and fishing together is great family fun. Nonresident anglers continue to have the option of purchasing one-, three- or seven-day licenses, or getting an annual permit.

Fish and Game's new one-day resident license makes it easier than ever to get outside and catch a memory in New Hampshire.
