Catch the "Buzz": Weekly fishing reports to air on WNDS-TV

CONCORD, N.H. -- On June 1, WNDS-TV Channel 50 (Derry) will launch "The Fishing Buzz," a brand-new 60-second weekly fishing report produced by N.H. Fish and Game in partnership with WNDS-TV and sponsored by the New England Ford Dealers. Each week during the summer season, fishing guides and other experts will present up-to-the-minute tips and strategies for getting in on the latest fishing action around the state. Mark Beauchesne, N.H. Fish and Game's Let's Go Fishing Coordinator, calls the series "the best fishing New Hampshire has to offer -- in 60 seconds or less!" The Fishing Buzz will air on WNDS-TV throughout the broadcast week.

"The series is designed to provide people with the information they need to have a top-notch fishing experience in New Hampshire," said Gene Steinberg, WNDS-TV's Chief Creative Officer. "It's part of our commitment to providing quality local programming on WNDS. And you might just find your next vacation hotspot!"

The Fishing Buzz will travel the state to cover topics like early season strategies for smallmouth bass, trolling for Winnipesaukee salmon, pike fishing on the Connecticut River, panfishing with kids, topwater bass action, trout stream strategies, mid-summer tactics for New Hampshire's largemouth bass, and float tubing for trout.

The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department works to conserve, manage and protect the state's fish and wildlife and their habitats, and to provide the public with opportunities to use and appreciate these resources.
