Missing Man Located
CONCORD, N.H. - Timothy Coombe, 45, of North
Conway, was found today in Cambridge, where his vehicle had become stuck
on the road to Success Pond. Coombe had been missing since Wednesday,
May 5. He is reported to be in good health, though he has Parkinson's
Disease and did not have his medication with him. He will be reunited
with his wife later this morning.
New Hampshire Fish and Game learned earlier this morning that on Wednesday
Coombe had asked a highway road crew for directions to Success Pond in
the Township of Success. Following up on this information, Fish and Game
Conservation Officers began searching for Coombe in the Cambridge/Success
area this morning. At approximately 8:15 a.m., Fish and Game Sgt. Michael
Moody located Coombe's vehicle stuck on the road in Cambridge. Coombe
had wisely stayed with the vehicle until he was found. Coombe had been
carrying a cell phone, but was not able to get reception in that area
to make a call for help.
