Body of Drowned Student Recovered
CONCORD, N.H. -- The
body of Kevin Young, age 23, of Loudon, N.H., was recovered by the New
Hampshire Fish and Game Dive Team today at approximately 11:35 a.m. The
body was found in water 12 to 14 feet deep at the base of Livermore Falls
on the Pemigewasset River in Campton.
Young was a student at Plymouth State University. He had been tubing the
river late yesterday when he disappeared in the area of the falls.
The Fish and Game Dive Team was assisted in the recovery effort by local police and fire departments, the Plymouth State University Police and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; New Hampshire State Police provided a helicopter search along the river.
