Visit a Fish Hatchery at Open House on May 24
CONCORD, N.H. -- New Hampshire Fish and Game's
six state fish hatcheries welcome the public to visit on Hatchery Open
House Day on Saturday, May 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The open house is
a great chance to make a family field trip to see the remarkable facilities
where Fish and Game raises trout and salmon stocked in streams and lakes
throughout the state every year. Fish and Game will present guided tours
of the facilities as well as presenting educational programs where you
can learn all about the art and science of raising fish.

- Berlin Fish Hatchery -- At the end of York

All of the state's fish hatcheries are open to the public during the summer and make a great stop on a family outing. Hatcheries at Twin Mountain, Warren, Berlin and Milford offer interactive exhibits as well as tours and an up-close experience with fish -- from eggs and fry to the big'uns, ready to stock. New Hampshire's hatcheries are open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Bring the kids for a visit after a morning of fishing!
