This panel discussion will inform participants of the current research, policy, and education about mercury in New England. Panelists will also address future trends and proactive strategies for reducing contamination. Panelists include representatives from the New Hampshire Department of Health & Human Services, University of New Hampshire, Biodiversity Institute, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Dartmouth College, New Hampshire State Legislature, Clean Water Action, the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, and affiliates of the Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management.

Directions to the Urban Forestry Center
The State of New Hampshire - Division of Forests and Lands - Urban Forestry Center is located at 45 Elwyn Road, Portsmouth NH, off Route 1. Telephone number is 603-431-6774.

From Interstate 95 Northbound/Southbound: Take exit 5 to the Portsmouth Traffic Circle. From the Circle, take Route 1 Bypass south. This will merge into Route 1 South. Proceed about 2 miles thru a series of five lights. At the next set of lights you should be in the left turn only lane (Yoken's Restaurant will be on your right). Turn left onto Elwyn Road. Take the first left turn (approximately 500 feet) into the Urban Forestry Center road to the parking lot.

From Route 4: Take Route 4 to the Spaulding Turnpike, across the General Sullivan Bridge, and past Pease International Tradeport. Move into the far left lane to the Portsmouth Traffic Circle. From the Circle take Route 1 Bypass south. Proceed about 2 miles thru a series of five lights. At the next set of lights you should be in the left turn only lane (Yoken's Restaurant will be on your right). Turn left onto Elwyn Road. Take the first left turn (approximately 500 feet) into the Urban Forestry Center road to the parking lot.

From 101: Take 101 East to 95 North then take Exit 5 to the Portsmouth Traffic Circle. From the Circle, take Route 1 Bypass south. This will merge into Route 1 South.
