Fishing License Sales and Fishing Info on the Web

CONCORD, N.H. - You can now wake up before dawn, purchase and print your license online and be on the water before many folks roll out of bed.

To purchase a fishing license, visit the Fish and Game Department's web site at www.wildlife.state.nh.us (or www.nhfishandgame.com).  All you need is your driver's license and a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). For a hunting license, you'll need last year's hunting license handy as well. Through this site, you can also purchase moose lottery applications, and licenses for archery, clamming, muzzleloader, pheasant, bear and wild turkey.  Nonresidents can purchase year-long licenses, as well as seven-, three- and one-day fishing licenses, or three-day small game hunting licenses.

Weekly fishing report
Fish and Game has also started a weekly fishing report, written by fishing experts around the state, to help you keep on top of fishing conditions, big catches, where the action is, stocking preparations, fishing destinations and more.  The fishing report is available at www.wildlife.state.nh.us, or click here to sign up to get it via e-mail in-box every Friday morning.

Also on the web site:

  • Fish and Game's 2002 Freshwater Fishing and Saltwater Fishing digests, to help you prepare and maximize your fishing trips.  You can print the whole digest, or just the pages you want.

  • The 2002 Fishing Forecast, with information from fisheries biologists on places to fish throughout New Hampshire.

  • The New Hampshire Freshwater Fishing Guide, an angler's guide to the Granite State's freshwater lakes, ponds, rivers and streams.
