Marine Aquaculture Hearing in Durham July 30, 2014

DURHAM, N.H. -- The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department will hold a public hearing on a proposed marine aquaculture application for license on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. at the N.H. Fish and Game Department's Region 3 Office, 225 Main Street, Durham, N.H.

Jay Baker of Fat Dog Shellfish Company will be heard on his application for a 4.5-acre bottom culture operation for American oyster, soft shell clam, and hard clam. The location proposed is in Broad Cove, Lower Little Bay, Newington close to the Fox Point shore. The public is welcome to attend and to offer comments on the proposed aquaculture plan.

Detailed plans for this project are available for public review on this web page or at the Department's Region 3 office in Durham.
