April 10, 2014, in Concord, NH

CONCORD, N.H. – See live birds of prey and learn to distinguish the different raptor species that call New Hampshire home at a free outdoor adventure talk on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 7 p.m. at Fish and Game headquarters, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord, N.H. No pre-registration is required.

Kevin Wall of New Hampshire Audubon will display live birds and talk about the unique role these predators play in our ecosystem. Learn about conservation efforts underway that have helped increase and stabilize New Hampshire's raptor populations. This talk is a great chance to get up close and personal with some amazing birds of prey!

Kevin's work as an educator has grown to include the care and management of six captive birds of prey housed at NH Audubon's McLane Center in Concord. For the past several years, he and these raptors have served as ambassadors for the environment. He has a passion for sharing what he learns with others in a way that helps encourage stewardship and an appreciation for natural world.
