Reel Paddling Film Festival at Red River Theatres, April 16, 2014, in Concord
CONCORD, N.H. – Get set for armchair thrills and chills as you run the rapids at the Reel Paddling Film Fest at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Red River Theatres, 11 South Main Street in Concord, N.H. The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is co-sponsoring the event with the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. Tickets are $12 ($10 for students) at northernforestcanoetrail.org, or $15 at the door.
The Paddle Fest event includes many of the year's best paddling films, including whitewater, adventure, canoeing, sea kayaking and instructional. Check out the movie trailers at reelpaddlingfilmfestival.com.
"This is the Sundance Film Festival of the paddling world," said Fish and Game Advertising and Promotions Coordinator Mark Beauchesne, an avid paddler.
The event is intended to help participants build connections to the larger paddling community as they support a good cause. Proceeds support the Northern Forest Canoe Trail.
