LANCASTER, N.H. -- On September 21, 2013, at 2:30 PM, Clifton Scott, age 79, of Stewartstown, New Hampshire was involved in a single off highway recreational vehicle (OHRV) crash on the Dixville Peaks Trail in Dixville. He was riding his ATV when he failed to negotiate a downhill turn, rolling his ATV. Emergency response crews arrived at the scene and attempted life-saving measures. Responding agencies included Colebrook Fire and Rescue, 45th Parallel EMS, and New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officers. Forty-year-old David Howe of Colebrook was killed on South Hill Road in Colebrook when he rolled his ATV. 45th Parallel EMS and Colebrook Fire and Rescue were the initial first responders.
