Hilton Park Boat Access to Be Closed January 21-March 8, 2013

CONCORD, N.H. – The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department today announced that the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) Hilton Park boat access facility on the Piscataqua River in Dover will be closed to the public from January 21 through March 8, 2013, because of construction activities related to installation of a natural gas pipeline.

During this time, Granite State Gas Transmission, Inc. (GSGT), in coordination with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT), will conduct pre-construction and construction activities necessary for installation of a natural gas transmission pipeline under the Piscataqua River between Newington and Dover, N.H.

Mobilization and pre-construction activities are scheduled to commence on January 21, 2013 on NHDOT property in Newington, on the easterly side of Spaulding Turnpike and south of Shattuck Way and on NHDOT property in the area of Hilton Park in Dover. Drilling activities are scheduled to commence on February 6, 2013.
