Still Space for You in the Beyond BOW Fly Tying Course

BOW fly-tying class

CONCORD, N.H. – Time is running out to sign up for the Beyond Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Fly Tying course, but there are still a few spots available.  A brochure and mail-in registration form for the fly tying course are available to download at nhbow.com. You can also call (603) 271-3212 or email aquatic-ed@wildlife.nh.gov to request an application.  Don’t delay – send in your registration soon.

The N.H. Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Program and the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department's Let's Go Fishing Program are teaming up to offer the course, which will be held on Wednesday evenings, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on January 23, 30, February 6, 13, and 20, 2013 at the Town of Bow Fire and Rescue Facility, 2 Knox Road, Bow, New Hampshire.

Participants must attend all five sessions. You must be at least 18 years old to take part.  The fee for the course is $100, which includes all equipment, materials and instruction.

Over the past ten years, the Fish and Game Department’s “Let's Go Fishing” program has taught thousands of children and adults to be safe, ethical and successful anglers. The program is federally funded through the Sport Fish Restoration Program.

The BOW program is a joint effort between the N.H. Wildife Federation and the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.
