Directions to N.H. Fish and Game Department Regional Offices

Directions to N.H. Fish and Game REGION 1 Office (North Country), 629B Main Street, Lancaster NH 03584. (reg1@wildlife.nh.gov; 603-788-3164). Located in the North Country Resource Center building on Route 3 in Lancaster, a facility that accommodates three offices— N.H. Fish and Game's Region 1 Office; NH Department of Resources and Economic Development (Forests and Lands and BOHV North Region offices); and UNH Cooperative Extension (Coos County). Near the road there are two signs—a large brown sign with yellow writing as well as a white sign with blue writing. Our facility is a large green building with the conference room at the front of the building. Driving directions are as follows:

From the south, take I-93 north through Franconia Notch; follow Route 3 to Lancaster; at the end of North Main Street (junction of Routes 2 and 3), turn right and continue north 2.2 miles on Route 3. Our office is on the right.

From the east (passing through the towns of Berlin, West Milan and Stark), follow Route 110 to the town of Groveton. You will come to a stop at the junction of Routes 110 and 3 (there will be a convenience store on your left). Turn left and continue south on Route 3 for approximately 7 miles. Our office is on the left.

From the north (passing through the towns of Stratford and Colebrook), follow Route 3 through the town of Groveton, continuing south on Route 3 to Lancaster for approximately 7 miles. Our office is on the left.

Directions to N.H. Fish and Game REGION 2 Office (Lakes Region and Central N.H.), PO Box 417, (200 Main Street), New Hampton, N.H. 03256. (reg2@wildlife.nh.gov; 603-744-5470):

From the North or South -- Take I-93 to exit 23. At bottom of ramp turn west (towards Bristol) onto Route 104. From Route 104 at the single blinking light (at the Fire Department) turn south on Route 132 -- also known as Main Street -- go past the New Hampton Prep School and the church to the Region 2 building across from the Elementary school. From the light to the building is less than a mile. 200 Main Street, New Hampton.

From the East -- Take Route 25 or Route 11 to Route 3 in Meredith. Then go west on Route 104 about 12 miles. Follow directions from Route 104, above.

From the west - Take Route 4 to Route 104 and go east about 7 miles. Follow directions from Route 104, above.

Directions to N.H. Fish and Game REGION 3 Office (Southeast/Seacoast N.H. ) and Marine Fisheries Division, 225 Main Street, Durham NH 03824 (reg3@wildlife.nh.gov; 603-868-1095):

From Maine and Massachusetts, from I-95 -- Take Route I-95 to New Hampshire. In Portsmouth, exit off at the Portsmouth Traffic Circle onto Rte 16 toward the White Mountains. Take Rte 16 to Rte 4 (Exit 6) towards Concord to Durham. There is only one red light in Durham. Take the next exit (after the weigh station), approximately 1 mile from light. At the bottom of the ramp, take a left. Less than ¼ mile down is the first road on the right. The only mailbox, which says “NH Fish and Game,” is at this street. Turn in at the mailbox, drive to the 1st left and we are the single-story gray building dead ahead. Park in the visitor’s parking lot out front, and enter the front door. Note: Just prior to our exit from Rte 4, you will see a state sign (blue with orange letters) which will direct you to Fish and Game. There’s another one at the bottom of the ramp, and another one at our street.

From Manchester -- Take 101 to Rte 125 in Epping. Go north on Rte125 to the Lee Traffic Circle (approx 8 mi.). Lee Traffic Circle has Rte 4 crossing Rte 125. Take Rte 4 east towards Durham/Portsmouth. Take the second exit (you’ll see the state signs, blue with orange lettering). Go to the bottom of the ramp and turn right. We are the first street on the right, and have the only mailbox on the street.

From the north and northeast - Take Route 93 to Route 89 North to Route 9 West. Follow Route 9 to Keene. Take a right turn where Routes 9, 10 and 12 come together, continuing onto Route 9 West; you will see a large blue sign for Dept of Safety, NH Fish and Game, NH State Police and the Motor Vehicle Dept. Turn right just past the Super 8 Motel, into the Monadnock Marketplace. Take an immediate right behind the Super 8 Motel, which brings you into the State building complex. Fish and Game's Region 4 office is at the far end on the left side.

From the west and southwest – Take Route 91 North to Exit 3 in Brattleboro, VT. Go only ½-way around the rotary and cross bridge over the Connecticut River. You will be on Route 9 East. Follow Route 9 into Keene. You will cross a small bridge and take a left turn at the light into the Monadnock Marketplace. Take an immediate right behind the Super 8 Motel, which brings you into the State building complex. Fish and Game's Region 4 office is at the far end on the left side.

From the south – Take Routes 10 or 12 North to Route101 in Keene. Take a left, heading west. You will pass Applebee’s restaurant and continue west. Go through the lights; Route 101 will end (stay straight on the same road), and you will be on Route 9 West. You will see a large blue sign for Dept of Safety, NH Fish & Game, NH State Police and the Motor Vehicle Dept. You will take a right turn just past Super 8 Motel into the Monadnock Marketplace. Take an immediate right behind the Super 8 Motel, which brings you into the State building complex. Fish and Game's Region 4 office is at the far end on the left side.

From the east – Follow Route 101 West into Keene and follow directions above from Applebee’s restaurant.
