N.H. Fish and Game Department
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does Fish and
Game have regional offices?
Work of regional fisheries, wildlife and law enforcement staff is
vital to the management and protection of local natural resources
in each region and supports local economies by protecting recreational
opportunities and natural places. Regional staff perform biological
survey and research work, coordinate conservation initiatives, mitigate
wildlife/human conflicts, enforce fish, wildlife and OHRV laws and
deliver essential emergency rescue services. The Region 3 Office
also houses Fish and Game's Marine Fisheries Division, as well.
