Teaching Students with Special Needs

Instructor: Ann Berry from Plymouth State University

Please bring a lesson you teach in your hunter education classes to the workshop.  Ann plans to use your actual lesson plans during the workshop.

This workshop is designed to help instructors reach those students who may have a learning disability.  The workshop will be tailored towards teaching the hunter education curriculum.  Ann was given both the hunter education manual and the bowhunter education manual and will gear the workshop towards that material.  A change in our teaching styles will benefit both the students with special needs and those without.  We want everyone to retain as much of the information we give them as possible, but we also want them to understand it enough to be able to apply it in the field.  Ann will help us achieve these goals.
