Turtles and Snakes: I'm gonna learn to like them!!

Vocabulary:

• Reptile
• Amphibian
• Keratin
• Plastron
• Carapace

Objectives:

• Students will be able to state the differences between reptiles and amphibians.
• Students will be able to state at least two differences between snakes and turtles.
• Students will be able to name 3 turtles and 3 snakes founding New Hampshire
• Students will be able to state at least 3 different habitats that snakes are found in New Hampshire.
• Students will be able to identify one turtle that spends a great deal of time on land.
